For the third year, Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation, Nike and Jordan Brand are collaborating with a patient at the hospital to design a sneaker to benefit the foundation. This would be the seventh year Nike and Doernbecher is collaborating. There are five other designers designing Nike sneakers as part of the program but some of the more memorable ones are Air Jordans. This year the lucky young designer took the Air Jordan III as the canvas and put out an amazing red and black combination and a first for the III, a clear outsole (public release that is). A full announcement is schedule for this October 9th at the Foundation so be on the look out for the rest of the designs from Doernbecher Freestyle VII.
